Description: 

The program predicts transmembrane regions of beta-barrel proteins based on Hidden Markov Model (HMM). The HMM discriminates between beta-barrels and other proteins: the method has been published in Bioinformatics 18: S46-S53 (2002).The predictor now includes a dynamic programming model optimization algorithm, to improve the detection of the transmembrane segments.
